Affiliate Disclosure

The Paws Insider.com is proud to offer honest, useful, and well-researched content for real pet parents. We only recommend products that we believe in, and, except where a post is clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Produced in Partnership” we do not receive free samples or other incentives from third parties in exchange for including them in a recommendation post. We occasionally receive unsolicited pet products and will include clearly labeled reviews of these items at our discretion.

Sometimes we earn a small commission (also known as “affiliate revenue”) when a reader clicks a link in our content and buys a product that we have featured. Any article that contains an affiliate link is clearly labeled. Shopping links featured in our articles may be from Chewy or other affiliate programs, such as Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program through which we may receive a commission for qualifying purchases.

Depending on where the reader is located, we may also use an affiliate aggregator called Skimlinks. Skimlinks has relationships with thousands of retailers and publishers and helps us place tracking codes to a retailer link in an article if it’s relevant. The tracking code recognizes when a reader clicks on a link in an article, at which point it drops a cookie on the reader’s device. That way, it can confirm if the reader makes a purchase from the retailer’s website. Skimlinks then attributes a commission from the sale to Paws Insider. Further information about the cookies Skimlinks uses to collect this information can be found here. If you do not want Skimlinks to store data about the websites you visit, the links you click and the merchants you buy from, you can opt out here.
