Charleston Dog Shelter

Charleston Dog Shelter

The mission of The Charleston Animal Group (The Charleston Dog Shelter) is to give temporary shelter to stray, abandoned, or surrendered dogs while following their no-kill policy and finding them a lifetime, loving home with responsible owners.

Through intensive spay/neuter programs and educational opportunities, their overall goal is to reduce the number of unwanted dogs.

TCDS treats these animals as if they were members of their family, and they work hard to find them homes with people who will love and care for them in the same way.

Greener Days Ahead Rescue

Greener Days Ahead Rescue

Greener Days Ahead Rescue became an official 501(c)3 rescue on May 12th, 2015, after seven years of teaching other rescues and keeping our feet solid.

As space allows, this group accepts homeless, abandoned, and owner-surrendered animals.

They take pride in caring for the animals, but there are just a few available at any given time.

Before adoption, all animals are brought to a healthy state, properly vetted, spayed or neutered, put on heartworm medication, and microchipped at GDAR.

They are entirely reliant on public donations and private donations.
